| I recieved this as a gift. It isn't a great sound system by a long shot, but it is what it is. It is a good system for me it works fine and does what it's made to do. If you want a basic sound system, it works. |
Solved my problem

| The reviews of this product have been so negative I almost didn't purchase it. The sound on my two year old $800.00 Sharp Aquos TV went out and the repair cost was shocking - $400.00. I didn't repair it because I knew I could by a new HDTV for about that much money at Costco (with a two year warranty). A salesman at HH Gregg suggested I try this soundbar, since the audio outputs on the TV still worked. Long story short - it sounds great, better than the TV. It has quite a lot of sound (highs and lows) for its size. It's piano black finish matches the TV exactly and it looks great on the shelf below the TV that hangs on the wall. The blue lights are appealing but too bright, I will allow. Also, there is not too much sterio separation, but that's OK for a small 26" TV. The remote is quite small but it works. I really don't need the remote since I switched the TV audio to variable and I can use the TV remote to make it louder or to mute the audio. Nice little product and now I see it can be bought for $30.00 less than the $119 I paid. |
NOT WORTH THE MONEY (even when you want to like it)

I really wanted this to work. I read the first reviewer and decided to ignore his criticisms. After all - how bad could it be? Well, Reviewer #1
is 100% correct. I gave it a fair try, the result: I guarantee you'll want to send this back.
So, save yourself return shipping fees and buy a different product.
Pros: I was excited before I hooked it up.
Cons: Annoying hum, low quality sound, remote is cheap with low range, also I am out $16+ for return ship.
My real rating is a negative 0.5. (and I'm not that picky) |

This was a complete waste. It's nothing but a fancy amplifier and not a good one either. The max the volume goes to is 50 and the the so-called woofer sucks. I had better results with my sony stereo and an old computer sub-woofer hooked to the tv. So much for the clock but I like to power off and unplug everything at night. The only thing it's got going for it is the blue led display. I should've checked up on this. It's made by AudioVox which sells their shi...stuff in CVS. Over all it should sell for $99 or below not what I shelled out. Save your money.
For it's package size I was not impressed to have it left at my door not requiring signature. I'll think twice about ordering 'large' items from Amazon. |

| When received, this unit would not produce any sound, after hours of experimentation and reinstallations. Returned to Amazon for refund. Don't think much of the unit, but three cheers for Amazon's return policies and customer service. |
